Iron Man (2008) with Robert Downey Jr. - Review

Leave it to me to fret about the lack of Seattle sunshine, then when we finally get another glimpse of it, I’m caught caught spending the better part of my day indoor.  Yes, we finally had some nice weather and I went to the movies.  It’s not ofter I get to the movies, only when there is an alluring action flick at box office. The last show I saw at the theaters was the highly touted Transformers movie, which was indeed a great action flick.

Iron Man Stars big names such as Robert Downey Jr., Jeff Bridges & Gwyneth Paltrow.

Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is a billionaire industrialist and genius inventor who is kidnapped and forced to build a devastating weapon.  Instead, using his intelligence and ingenuity, Tony builds a high-tech suit of armor and escapes captivity.  When he uncovers a nefarious plot with global implications, he dons his powerful armor and vows to protect the world as Iron Man. (Paramount Pictures, Marvel Studios) .

While this movie’s action falls a bit short of the Transformers, Robert Downey Jr’s quick wit and comical character makes for a great overall flick.
