Tiger, recovering from knee surgery has missed his first Players Championship tournament since turning pro.
The Players tournament is filled will professionals of all ages, and will no doubt continue to be an exciting event; however without Tiger nipping at their heals, the anticipation and competition just doesn’t seem the same. While there are a number of names on the leader board that I am rooting, the thing I am rooting for most is just one player, who can consistently and consecutively give Tiger a run for his money week, after week, and really put some excitement into the game over the next few years.
