Sergio was overdue to win such a prestigious PGA event. He showed early on in his career that he clearly has the talent to be one of the worlds best. I think he’s had a few slower years then people expected, but he’s getting it all figured out. His best is yet to come, and watch out Tiger Woods because that time may be now!
Sergio has always been one of my favorite golf competitors. Just like my other favorites Phil Mickelson and Fred Couples; he smiles at the fans, appears humble, and gives others their due respect. I think he’s a great guy, and I hope this win was the beginning of a long streak of top tens.
