However Greg Norman put on a great show. It was great to see this guy leading the open at one point and doing so well throughout the whole tournament. In the end it was Padraig Harrington who took home the win of the blustering windy 2008 British Open.

Richie Sexson was released today by the Mariners after a slump lasting most of two seasons and made him a target of constant booing from frustrated Seattle fans.
