Hands off that cell phone while driving in Washington. If you’re not using a bluetooth or some other hands free device while talking and driving in Washington, you could be looking at a $124 ticket. On Tuesday 7/1/08 Washington State’s new cell phone law went into affect banning the holding of a phone to your ear while driving. This ban is considered a secondary offense, meaning you can’t get pulled over just for using your phone in this way. But why take the risk.
