British Open 2008

Sergio Garcia is favored to with the 2008 British open in Tiger absence. Garcia has played in the final group at the last two Championships and says: “I love this event, everything about it is great.  We don’t get to play these kind of courses too often, and we try to enjoy the moment as much as possible. And then the crowds and the history of the tournament, it’s just unbelievable.” Sergio is one of my favorite players in the sport.

This years open will be played at the par 70, 7137 yard Royal Birkdale Golf Course. This will be the ninth time since the open first visited in 1954.

  1. Best of luck to New Zealands number one golfer, Michael Campbell. May all his bad form go away and he wins the open.
